Aura Storm UV-C Air Purifier & Sterilizer
The Aura Storm, engineered by Invictus Sterilization and distributed by Safe Steps, is a powerful medical-grade UV-C and HEPA air purifier and air sterilizer, FDA 510(k) cleared as a Class II medical device (510(k) No. K212644). It is designed for large rooms, healthcare facilities, schools, offices, gyms, hospitality spaces, senior care facilities, and commercial environments that require cleaner, safer indoor air.
Built with a dual-sided 9-stage filtration system, Aura Storm combines H13+ medical-grade HEPA filtration, TiO₂ cold catalyst filtration, photocatalyst oxidation, UV-C sterilization lamps, air quality sensors, VOC sensors, particulate sensors, and automatic fan speed control to help capture pollutants and inactivate airborne bacteria, viruses, fungus, and mold.
Aura Storm delivers hospital-grade air sterilization for rooms up to 2,775 sq. ft. with third-party certified testing showing 99.99% sterilization, or 4-log reduction, in under 60 minutes. It is designed to eliminate viruses, bacteria, and mold.
With whisper-quiet operation, multiple operating modes, UV and ion control, and a compact floor-standing design, the Aura Storm is an ideal solution for continuous indoor air purification in high-traffic areas where air quality and infection prevention matter most.

Aura Storm FAQ
Does the Aura Storm produce ozone?
No. The UV-C sterilizing lamps are fully enclosed inside the unit and are ozone-free. Ionization is a separate, optional mode that you can switch off at any time — the Aura Storm filters and sterilizes normally with ions turned off.
How often do the filters need to be replaced?
Up to 12 months, depending on usage and air quality. Rooms with heavier dust, traffic or VOC load may need replacement sooner — the unit’s air quality display helps you judge. Replacement filters are available through Safe Steps: contact us to order.
How loud is it in practice?
On low/sleep speed the Aura Storm runs at 29 dB — quieter than a whisper, suitable for patient rooms and offices. At maximum speed it reaches 65 dB, about the level of normal conversation. In automatic mode it stays at low speed and only ramps up when the sensors detect declining air quality.
How much does it cost to run?
The Aura Storm draws a maximum of 65W — roughly 47 kWh per month if run 24/7 at full speed, which is about $6–$8 per month at typical U.S. electricity rates. In automatic mode, typical usage is lower.
What does “FDA 510(k) cleared” mean?
The Aura Storm was reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration through its 510(k) premarket notification process and cleared for market as a Class II medical device under 510(k) number K212644. Clearance means the FDA determined the device is substantially equivalent to a legally marketed predicate device.
What warranty and return policy apply?
The Aura Storm includes a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty and is covered by our 30-day return policy. See Shipping & Returns for details.
